Can Dyshidrotic Eczema be hereditary?

The exact cause of dyshidrotic eczema is not actually known. There are factors that are common in the occurrence of outbreaks like emotional stress, allergic reactions, etc.-and also there is a likelihood of genetic predisposition, but it has yet to be proven. I was diagnosed with it a couple of years ago and had really bad outbreaks-which are worse in the summertime. The dermatologist said that I was experiencing an allergic reaction to the oils in paper and prescribed a steriod cream, which helps, but can also be damaging over time.  (+ info)

I have dyshidrotic eczema on my hand!!!?

I have dishidrotic eczema on the palm of my left hand. It has been on my hand for almost 2 years now. I have been to the dermatologist and she gave me a steroid ointment called colbetasol propionate. I have used this ointment, just as directed, and it has done nothing. I am going back to the dermatologist in a couple weeks. Some days it looks decent and some days it looks awful. It never completely goes away.

Obviously this is a painful and it is very unattractive. Any ideas to help it go away? For good?
e45? Never heard of it. So glad its working for you though.

Where could I get some?
----------

That is a chronic disease, which means that you will always have it. The steroid ointment should help reduce the rashes. You might be exposing your hands to something that exacerbates the condition.

You should look at the list of things on this website that exacerbate the condition (make it reoccur.) It also lists some other treatments that may help reduce the symptoms.

Dyshidrotic Eczema Relief?

My doctor gave me a steroid hydrocortizone cream to put on my hand twice a day. She also told me I could wrap it if it made it more comfortable. I've been doing this for a few days but it's not getting better. It's actually spreading from my palm onto my fingers. What can I do to relieve the pain and itching?

Thanks.

Hi,

I have been helping a friend get rid of his psoriasis’ on his skin, it covers about 2 square feet of his arms and hands.

He has been spraying on 2.5 PH water for about a month now, and it is working. He is also drinking 9.5 PH water. His wife has MS, and is also drinking the 9.5 PH alkaline water, and is doing much better.

You can get free alkaline water - place a wanted add on http://craigslist.com

Here is a demo video to watch for the eczema cure as seen in Japan. Sorry but the hospitals in the United States and Europe are not this advanced at this time.

Alergies to food include shellfish, garlic, and others. Stop eating things like cheese, then milk products, then anything brewed (beer, yogurt, breads made with yeast). When it goes away, then you have some idea of what you should stop eating.

Or use the process developed in Japan, and eat what you want to.

Good Luck !  (+ info)

Is Dyshidrotic Eczema Contagious?

http://dermnetnz.org/dermatitis/pompholyx.html
----------

I don't believe that it is contagious. Most forms of eczema are caused by allergies or oversweating, so it's not possible to catch eczema from someone. It may be possible to spread eczema on your own body if the sores burst.  (+ info)

Pompholyx/dyshidrotic eczema?

How do you deal with yours?
Mine is on my hands and the only thing that seems to slightly work is graphites cream.
----------

Hi,

Eczema is fairly easy to cure. You can watch this video of a cure used in Japan. It does take a few months, and if you had been using steroids, it will take a few more weeks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxLW-HKgQzU&feature=channel_page

You can place a wanted add on http://craigslist.com and will usually be able to ask for some 8.5 PH drinking water and get a response. I make alkaline water at home in a processor that will also make the 2.5 PH water used to treat eczema on the skin. You drink the 8.5 - 9.0 PH water, and then treat the skin with the 2.5 PH water. Keep the skin damp with the 2.5 PH water for several hours a day, and the skin will clear up in about 3 months. You will start to see it clear up in a month or so.

Good Luck!  (+ info)

Dyshidrotic Eczema HELP!!?

I have this stupid rash again. I had it once before about 4 months ago and I got rid of it. Before I went to the doctors and they gave me stupid creams that don't work (I forgot the names because they didn't do crap). I need some help to get rid of this.

I've stayed out of the heat, never scratched it, tried to dry it up by boiling salt and water then applying it as a topical, put aloe vera, used peroxide, and never moisturized it. I need it to dry and nothing is working. I'm trying not to stress but everything is annoying me because I have this ignorant skin epidemic.

Frick!!
Please help, I'm also trying not to stress my girlfriend out as well she's on her monthly gift. ;)
Thanks for all your help!!

Hello there. I suggest that you should try cream/spray combo for eczema from Champori.com It is herbal (steroid-free) and works better and faster on my eczema than anything else I tried: I haven't had a relapse for more than a year now after only a couple weeks of treatment. Champori is available online without prescription and comes with the money back guarantee, so if it doesn't work for you- it's free.

is it true that you cannot eat egg if you have ( dyshidrotic ) eczema?? Prove it.. thanks?

Nobody knows for sure what causes dyshidrotic dermatitis so probably nobody can also prove that eating eggs causes or worsens the rash. Ingestion of allergens such as chromate, neomycin, quinoline, or nickel are known to have caused some cases though.  (+ info)
