In this paper we present a case with bilateral sensorineural hearing impairment immediately following a minor abdominal surgical procedure. 2/2. Sudden bilateral hearing loss after spinal anaesthesia. A case report.A case of bilateral hearing loss following an otherwise uncomplicated spinal anaesthesia with bupivacaine is presented. It is suggested that a drop in intracranial pressure played a principal role in the development of this complication.
