What could I mix with grape vodka to make a good mixed drink?

Using Burnett's Grape Vodka ($10 a bottle), what pop or such could I mix it with to make a good mixed drink?
Has to be something I can conceal in a pop bottle or something. No shots.
Any Ginger-Ale or club soda would probably taste okay. Your may be sick anyway.  (+ info)

Is it ok/edible to keep cake mix that's mixed with eggs, water, and oil in the fridge? For like a day or two?
I say no. I made one once... and it was edible, but because the baking powder became activated getting 'wet', the clock started 'ticking', and it turned into the sorriest looking cake ever made. I even took a picture of it, it was so funny looking.
Don't waste the mix, it CAN be eaten, but I wouldn't serve it to guests.  (+ info)

I was so excited the other day when I saw that Betty Crocker had put Sunkist lemon bars back on the shelf. I was in a big hurry to cook them tonight, and I mixed the crust as the filling. I now have a bag full of filling mix left. What should I do with the extra? I would hate to throw it away and waste it. Should I make my own crust or something different?
Yeah just go out and get another one but make it extra high and thick by mixing both packages for fun. You can sink your teeth into that thick lemony taste.

Well I had a gas cramp in my stomach. My mom told me to get a half a teaspoon of baking soda and mix it with a inch of water and drink it...
And hour later or so I threw up.
Sorry. I didn't know exactly what category to put this in.
Read your baking soda box. It will say something about using it as an upset stomach remedy.
Also when I was a kid my mom used water, vinegar and baking powder to help relieve an upset stomach. Believe me it made one burp and could also cause you to throw up.  (+ info)

I can't stand beer, so I'm always looking for a good mixed drink to enjoy instead. I like tequila blanco (the clear stuff). Can you recommend and really good mixed drinks to make with it? Something new, different, interesting. Thanks!
Tequila Sunrise

Ice
1 1/2 ounces tequila
Freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 ounce homemade pomegranate syrup, recipe follows

Fill a Collins or highball glass with ice. Add the tequila. Add enough orange juice to come almost to the top of the glass; the amount will vary depending on the size of the glass. Gently pour the pomegranate syrup into the glass and serve. Do not stir.
Pomegranate Syrup
4 cups pomegranate juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice


For Syrup: Place the pomegranate juice, sugar and lemon juice in a 4-quart saucepan set over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Once the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until the mixture has reduced to 1 1/2 cups, approximately 50 minutes. It should be the consistency of syrup. Remove from the heat and allow to cool in the saucepan for 30 minutes. Transfer to a glass jar and allow to cool completely before covering and storing in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.  (+ info)

I am allergic to citrus fruits and that seems to cut like 99% of all mixed drinks. I'm a guy, so no foofoo super fruity drinks. Gin and vodka are my favorites. Right now the Gin and Tonic has been my drink of choice, but it always goes flat after a little while. Any suggestions?

How long does a mixed drink stay good for?

I mixed vodka and orange juice at about midnight last night. It has been out of the fridge all night (about 13 hours). I just put it back in the fridge. Will it still be alright to drink tonight?
Same goes with Rum and Sprite?
Man that shit will last forever (well, not literally). But just stir it up a bit, otherwise the last few drinks will be really strong (depending on how you mixed it, of course).  (+ info)

What are some good alcoholic mixed drinks that require relatively few ingredients and are easy to make at home?
Depends on what you like if your a vodka person an easy vodka and orange juice is good ( screwdriver) or bloody mary ( which you can make with vodka and a bloody mary mix or with another recipe) or if your a whiskey fan you can make whiskey and coke always a pleaser. If you are making drinks for a big party the way to go is panty dropper punch which is beer, everclear, tequila and some pink lemonade. You can usually get some nice mixes from walmart and all you do is add the alcohol like margarita and pina colada mixes.  (+ info)
