I have been diagnosed with multipul angiolipoma's?

Hi my name is coop, I have been wxtremly i'll for about 4 months now and after countless trips to the doctoct. they have finaly found that I am covererd with angiolipomas! these lumps have blood vessles in the unlike normal lipomas which are fat cells. angiolipomas attach them selves to nerve sheths and cause pain in that area. I have only had the first one out so far, and having the rest out as soon as possible. "now for my question"!! for four months prior to this diagnoses, I have been suffering from constantly feel faint, altered vision, all the classic symptoms of diabetes, testes confimed I am not diabetic. what I would like to no is there anyone out the that has had multiple angiolipomas that has had similar symptoms to me and if so did they go away after surgical removal?? My doctors cant tell me if they symtoms are caused by the tuma's? it's just there best guess!! want to go back to work slowy losing everything I have worked hard for. please help!!!thanks. coop.

I am truely sorry to hear you are afflicted with this rare condition. My condolences to you.

To answer - No , I have not had these - but I did a little reading on them, and although they are painful, and the extractions are painful indeed - there is no evidence that this condition leads to any other type of disorders.

So, I do not think you also have diabetes. Perhaps, the symptoms you are experiencing are the resut of the treatment so far - it has to be hard on your body, so stick with it - it'll pass.

And once they have them all out - you should be free of them forever - I haven't read a case of remission, so I think your chance are excellent -good luck!!  (+ info)

hi coop here thankyou for your input.?

To give you a little more back ground on me.
Up until 4 months ago I was reasonably healthy, working, happy and then I started to get dizzy and pass out! I have a ct's, EKG's EEG's, 5 diferrent lots of blood test urine test (24hour) clucose tolerance tests, admited into hospital 4 times when smptoms are at there worst and I keep feeling like am about to faint. feel like I have been drugged or something. has been 4 months of tests with no answers. the latest is, the lumps that I have are beign angiolipoma, can these lumps cause such symptoms and if so will removing them give me my life back?? I am an ex-olympic athelete who has never been overweight? what is going wrong in my body to cause these tuma's? feel helpless lost 30kg so far?

how can i convince my dr that i want a proper diagnosis?

i have been having knots for a while in my stomach, chest region, breasts, back, and a few other places. i have come to this possible diagnosis, and i think i could have Liposarcoma, Angiolipoma, or Adiposis dolorosa. i think it is a big possibility that i could have any of these things, i have been to the drs twice this year for a proper diagnosis, i did not mention these things to him because i didnt do my research yet, but i really feel like my dr thinks im full of $hit? why else would he keep telling me i just have IBS? any advice would be appreciated, ty :)
I am not a hypochondriac, i found those terms/diseases, from yahoo answers. I cant be thankful that IBS is all i have, because my symptoms are more beyond the symptoms of IBS.

Get a second opinion and then stop questioning the doctors. They are MD's and you aren't. Be thankful that it's nothing serious.  (+ info)
