Can i still be pregnant even if i'm diagnosed with adenomyoma?

I'm 29yrs old who so much wishes to have a child. I consulted my ob for infertility checkup. Everything was fine and normal except that i was diagnosed with adenomyoma. I don't have any symptoms of it and so it's hard for me to accept the disease. Can anybody explain it to me better. I am so worried of not having a child. Please serious answers, I feel so hopeless now

I have adenomyoma of the uterus. Is it possible to have a low grade fever for 2-3 days prior to my period.?

Is that a sympton of adenomyosis. could it possibly be pregnancy? Dr. didn't think I can get pregnant with my condition
----------

Yes, it could be possible that a low grade fever can occur 2-3 days before your period because of the body trying to fight any infection (just using this as an example) that might be going on around that time.

Having adenomyosis could be a potential cause for this.

As for getting pregnant with adenomyosis I know of someone that did but I don't remember how bad her case was except that she said that when pregnant and the baby started to kick after so much time it irritated the adenomyosis for a time.

I would recommend getting another opinion, preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor you currently use, to see what they think could be going on.  (+ info)

i am diagnosed with fibroids, pco, and now adenomyoma. can pregnancy be possible?

I just turned 40. have child from previous marriage. trying to conceive
----------

I was diagnoised with fibroids, polyps and a bad fallopian tube. The doctors all said that I couldn't get pregnant, let alone carry a baby to term with the fibroids. This all came after I had an ectopic pregnancy and losing my left tube and ovary.
13 months of trying to conceive and tests after tests, I proved the doctors wrong. I was 34 when I got pregnant with my miracle baby. People our age are starting families everyday!
***Do NOT give up. They offered me a surgery to remove the fibroids and polyps, but I became pregnant the month before the surgery. Maybe talk to your doctor. See a specialist if you can. They are many really good doctors out there.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Fingers crossed for you.
Hugs to you honey.  (+ info)

Fibroids/Adenomyoma?

I am 29 with no children. I have always had a very regular period until a few years ago. I started to get night sweats and gradually longer, heavier periods. This past period (which is STILL continuing) started on Feb 8th! I went to my OBG on Monday who felt my uterus and said it was enlarged. I have had an ultra sound in the past which shows I have a fibroid tumor 3 cm in diameter. So her suspicion is that either the fibroid has gotten larger or I have this adenomyoma in which your uterine lining thickens and grows into itself.
She suggested another set of ultrasouunds, followed by Lupron injections to shrink it then surgery to shave it away.
I am into naturally healing and to be honest I will go for the ultra sounds to see whats up, but I probably will not concent to surgery or hormones. My main goal is to preserve my fertility.
Has anyone gone through this that can offer any advice?
No jerks please.

adenomyosis w/fibroids?

I am 29 with no children. I have always had a very regular period until a few years ago. I started to get night sweats and gradually longer, heavier periods. I had an ultra sound last week which shows I have either a fibroid tumor alone or with an adenomyosis 9 cm in diameter. So her suspicion is that either the fibroid has gotten larger or I have this adenomyoma in which your uterine lining thickens and grows into itself.
She suggested another set of ultrasouunds, followed by Lupron injections to shrink it then surgery to shave it away.

O my God! I had the same problem. I'm 28 now. My period was regular too. But bleeding gradually increased within a short time. I was so anemic. My ultrasound showed i had multiple huge fibroids with adenomayoma. I was not even married then. doctor gave to 4 shots of luprone for 4 months then did my surgery, removed 28 of them. but my bleeding continued after the surgery and the fibroids grew again within a short time.
God was kind to me and I got pregnant after 2 years of that surgery. my fibroids were huge when i got pregnant.
Although the baby was born premature, she is fine now.
finally i got rid from heavy bleeding as my uterus has been removed as well. Doctors tried much to save it but it was not possible,
I hope your case is not so bad like me. I will suggest you to get pregnant soon, my experience says so. bleeding can do a lot of harm. I remember i couldn't go out on those days, count do any work properly, i was weak.
Good luck.  (+ info)
