We describe a patient with symptomatic heterotopic ossification of the adductor muscle that developed years after sustaining a fracture of the inferior pubic ramus in association with an injury to the adductor longus muscle. 2/3. Botulinum toxin a for vulvodynia: a case report.vulvodynia is a poorly understood chronic pain condition, and patients who are refractory to standard therapies often pose a therapeutic dilemma. Current treatment modalities include antidepressants, anticonvulsants, biofeedback, pelvic floor physical therapy, and surgery; however, the options are limited for patients who fail to respond to these treatments. We present a case of refractory vulvodynia with severe dyspareunia successfully managed with a novel therapeutic approach combining botulinum toxin A and surgery. 3/3. infertility from female circumcision.OBJECTIVE: To present a case report of a patient with primary infertility from female circumcision, the management of the patient, and a review of the literature. DESIGN: Case report and literature review. SETTING: University hospital. PATIENT(S): A 31-year-old woman referred for a history of primary infertility. INTERVENTION(S): Complete history and physical exam of the patient and subsequent deinfibulation. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE(S): diagnosis, surgical management, and postoperative sexual function and pregnancy. RESULT(S): Resolution of dyspareunia, satisfactory postoperative sexual function, and pregnancy.
