Acute respiratory failure due to gentamicin aerosolization.We report a paradoxical episode of near-fatal bronchoconstriction which occurred in an adult bronchiectatic subject, with chronic pseudomonas aeruginosa airways colonization, immediately after his first inhalation of a gentamicin solution.
