Tryptophan hydroxylase (Tryptophan Monooxygenase)

An enzyme that catalyzes the hydroxylation of TRYPTOPHAN to 5-hydroxytryptophan in the presence of NADPH and molecular oxygen. It is important in the biosynthesis of serotonin.
