Is it normal that I never get goosebumps?

I'm talking about the physical effect (cutis anserina) here. Whether I'm in freezing cold conditions or I feel chills from a movie, music, whatever, I never get physical goosebumps on my skin.

I do have hair on my arms - a moderate amount, I'm no gorilla. Not sure it ever stands up any straighter than its resting state though.

In fact up until my teens I thought "goosebumps" was just a figure of speech - the first time I saw them on someone's arms I was amazed.

Is this normal or should go I join the circus - "come see the amazing goosebumpless man!"?

How is it not normal? Everyones body is different, and it's not like there's anything wrong with not getting goosebumps.  (+ info)
