How can you make a wiggly tooth fall faster?

I have a wiggly tooth. On one side the tooth is moving the other is moving but not alot. So I want to make it fall faster. I also want to make my other teeth fall down so my new teeth won't grow up behind them when they still haven't fell down.
----------

If you want your tooth to fall out and you are just a young child you should eat apples and just play with it with your tongue. I think if you tie a rope around it is not a good idea because it might hurt if its not ready. If you want to pull it out without hurting you should get a gel call Orejell. Its an numbing gel you put in your mouth. It might taste gross but i use it for things like this too!!

Good Luck with you tooth =)  (+ info)

How long Does it take for a Tooth to grow back?

I've recently lost a tooth (yesterday) and I'm 12, so You seem like a baby when you loose your teeth. I'm wondering how long it takes for a tooth to grow. I can see a little point of the start of it. I also have another tooth right beside the lost one which is wiggly and it will fall out soon. I don't want to be made fun of, because of a BIG gap between my teeth. Please help me.

What is the best and healthiest way to whiten your teeth without hurting your tooth enamel?

I have tried all those tooth pastes that say it makes you teeth whiter but it has not helped at all. I want to bleach my teeth but I heard that is really bad for your teeth. Is there any cheap and healthy way to whiten your teeth without hurting them?

Thanks

There is no best way to whiten teeth its chemicals your putting on. Use a whitening toothpaste on a daily basis like crest and try the crest white strips they really work but be careful your teeth will hurt in the beginning. If you drink coffee, tea, wine or soda that can stain your teeth so make sure once u whiten your teeth to stay away from those things. If you smoke that definitley stains your teeth. My advice as a dental hygienist try the strips first and if your not happy with the results u can even try the whitening trays from your dentist or zoom which is an hour procedure.  (+ info)

What medication do they usually prescribe after you have a tooth pulled?

I'm getting braces and they need to extract one of my teeth on the side of my upper jaw. The tooth is pretty much halfway from the last tooth to the middle teeth. What kind of medication do they usually prescribe for that? I had an upper wisdom tooth pulled once, it didn't require any drilling or anything. They just popped it right out. They gave me percocet and an antibiotic. Do you think it'll be the same with this tooth extraction?

How long does it take for a pulled tooth to grow in?

Last week, I got one of my back baby teeth pulled. I can see the permanent tooth breaking through the gum. I had an orthodontist appointment today, and the orthodontist said that my braces will come off when the tooth grows in. So obviously, my question is, how long will it take for this tooth to grow in? Thanks in advance.
----------

It depends. I also got a tooth pulled out but that was more than a month ago and it still isn't showing. Some take long to grow back and some don't. It just depends.  (+ info)

How much would it cost to have my tooth capped?

A part of my tooth in the back of the mouth chipped off yesterday, leaving a hole in the tooth. I'm worried about food and junk getting stuck inside the tooth where its hard to brush and getting infected.

My dental insurance doesnt activate until October.

Should i wait till October to schedule an appointment? I'm pretty short on cash right now.

How much would it cost to have that tooth capped or filled in?

Thanks!

You need to get this attended to right away. When a piece of tooth comes off due to decay it means the decay is pretty serious. Your doc can just put in a bonded restoration to hold you if a crown is needed or maybe that's all you need. Cost is hard to determine without seeing you but under $200 for the restoration.  (+ info)

What age do most kids loose their first tooth?

My son is 5 days away from his 5th birthday, and lost his first tooth tonight while eating a sandwhich. Is this normal for his age or is it too early??? He cut teeth early, and got all his teeth early. Does this effect him loosing his teeth now?
----------

Absolutely within normal range. Most children who get their teeth early end up losing it earlier.  (+ info)

What is this strange Tooth Odor after wisdom teeth extraction?

So I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled more than two weeks ago, and fortunately most of my mouth has returned to normal.

Except that in the bottom left part of my jaw, the back tooth is fairly sore, and hurts to touch. Also, there's this strange bitter odor either coming from that tooth, or the hole from behind that tooth. It's kind of milky, but it also smells and tastes like tooth enamel.

The sensation is most acute when it gets in my sinuses :(

What is it? And what could be causing it?
----------

There could be some infection in the socket. It would be a good idea to have a dentist take a look at it, as it may need to be flushed out and possibly you also may need antibiotics. Good luck.  (+ info)

What are the dangers of not getting a tooth pulled?

My mom had a tooth with a filling and the filling fell out. 2 years ago. The filling covered most of the tooth. Yesterday the tooth basically fell apart. Only the back part of the molar is still there. She thinks its fine that way. Is it dangerous to leave the tooth this way? It seems like a major thing to me.
----------

Tiffany gave a great answer.

It is dangerous not to get a tooth pulled for the reasons Tiffany mentioned. Infection is very likely and infection in the head is serious and has led to death.

How can I a whiten a stain on my tooth that is next to a bond?

I have a bond on my tooth. I have two stains that are on my tooth right next to the bond. I've tried whitening toothpastes and they help a little, but it does not last through the day. I am afraid to use a whitening tray because I don't want my teeth to be whiter than the bond. I really want to get rid or these or at least tone them down because it looks like I have food in between my teeth. Help!
----------

Get some whitestrips....you can easily control how white it becomes from day to day.....not to worry.....see if it helps.  (+ info)
