If it's not testicular cancer, what is it? Spermatocele?

So a year ago, I found lumps in my scrotum and thought they might be cancer. I went to the GP and she said she doesn't feel anything on my testicle. It wasn't on my testicle, it was above it.. like.. sorta attached to this tube, and soft. Now it's one year later, I'm not dead yet and I feel fine. My testicles feel normal, but that lump has gotten twice as big; it's not a single lump, it's a .... mass of soft lumpy things. Is it a spermatocele or something else? if it's not cancer, leave it alone?
dude, i think we have the same problem. i am worried about a lump on the upper or superior part of my right testicle. every time i feel it, i think it is somehow not totally attached to my right testicle and it is soft and smooth. at first i thought it was a testicular cancer. but after some internet research i found out that it was more like a "Spermatocele". i hope it is because its better than having cancer in the ball. one thing im worrying about is that i feel that my scrotum is shrinking. its not on it normal size as before. it looks more like it is drained. is it testicular atrophy? but i think both of my testicles are in their normal size.

Question about spermatocele pain?

So, earlier I found out that I have a spermatocele on the tube connected to my testicle, and I started to manipulate it last night and was probably a little too rough with it because now it hurts every few minutes and my testicle is no longer descended, it is retracted deep into my body and not even taking a hot shower will make it descend. The pain has gotten slightly better but only minorly. Originally, the cyst was completely painless, it was only when I manipulated it a little too much did it begin to hurt like this.

I'm worried that I may have damaged it or the area, and basically I want to find out if I have now made a painless cyst into a permanently chronic painful one, or will it most likely just heal and everything will be ok soon enough?

Anyone with any knowledge would be of help. Thank - you.
whoa! Poor guy - sounds painful

This is usually a benign condition but, it sounds like you have aggravated your condition and may want to give your Md a call for any further suggestion - He may have to give you an antibiotic treatment such as tetracycline  (+ info)

U better visit a doctor... Since spermatoceles, if they quiet, does not mean that it will not cause any problem in ur future...

they can get infected and cause problems.. Better get perated and get resolved once for all...  (+ info)

No all it is is a cyst. It's nothing that can't be handled or taken care of, and definately will not keep you from going into the service  (+ info)

i found a lump on my right testicle the other day

its painless and firm. its behind it and to the top. its at the head of the Epididymis. its smooth and pefectly round, pea sized. it doesnt feel like its part of the tesitcle itself and can freely move from side to side a little bit, when i move it it looks like the scarabs from the mummy in my sac.

its NOT directly connected to the testicle because when i was moving it back and forth i put my finger in one spot, moved it over it and put my finger on the spot it was at before.

it seems connected by something tiny or external though allowing for its movement but not completely being detached

i think its a spematocele because of its location and movement but im not sure and im worried. can anyone give any input?

i dont have health insurance and cancer would kill me
im a hypochondriac and this is probably the 15th disease i think ive had. ive been trying to battle my nervous habit but a lump on my balls is not something i can ignore. hypochondriac or not.

I am 23 years old. I am currently unemployed and without health insurance. About 2 months ago I noticed what feels like a spermatocele near my testicle and also I noticed a small bead-like mass near it. It is not inside the testicle, but moves rather freely.

I need to see a doctor about this. I am going to have to do some research to find one that offers financial assistance. Should I look for a GP or skip ahead and just try to find a urologist?

I think i may have three testicles, but i do not know if it is a third testicle or a varicocele or a spermatocele. How do i tell if it is?
It's probably and inguinal hernia. does the one feel smaller than the other two? I've had one before, and they aren't fun. You should get it checked out ASAP, because it will really start hurting later on.  (+ info)

I have a pain in the left side of my groin and lower left abdomen, and i can get a pain in the left side of my testicle - i do have an epididymal cyst on my left testicle and i think a spermatocele. Could this be causing the pain? I also think i have a haemorrhoid as well. I went on a power plate today and it said not to use it if you have an acute hernia, could i be in danger???
Funny I thought you were having a period! It's gonna be fine, but I would reccomend you go to the doctor. if you don't want to hey it's fine, then put like a heating pad or some cream!

I have a question about ejaculation?

My climax feels normal but when I ejaculate not very much comes out. I know everyone is different but my amount seems very little and I'm pretty sure I recall producing greater amounts in my past. It's not a macho thing for me rather I am concerned with being able to make children.

What conditions could be causing this? Could age be involved? I am almost 40. Also I was diagnosed in the past with both varicose veins and a spermatocele, though urologists have told me not to worry about those.
