Henoch Schoenlein Purpura?

I was diagnosed with it about 4 years ago almost, it has shown almost no sign of clearing up, it is really prominent on the legs.
Is there any cure for this whatsoever, i'm just tired of having it for so long. I did go to UC Berkeley and had the Biopsy they said it would last months at most. Help!
While HSP is generally a mild illness that resolves spontaneously, it can cause serious problems in the kidneys and bowels. The rash can be very prominent. The treatment of HSP is directed toward the most significant area of involvement. Joint pain can be relieved by tylenol or by anti-inflammatory medications, such as naproxen or ibuprofen. except in dermatologist do u know what is the medicine or a cream for that? it is so itchy and longer and longer if scartchy and take a cream after a an hour its scratchy again. its look like a big pimple but so very itchy and scarctchy help me for this i want to know what is the best medicine for that...except a dermatologist i want to know from you.thank you
Treatment
The prognosis of Henoch-Schönlein purpura is excellent. Most patients recover completely, and some do not require therapy. Treatment is similar for adults and children. When glucocorticoid therapy is required, prednisone is recommended.

I have been diagnosed with henoch-schonlein purpura and was wondering what herbal remedies would be good for me to take? Also, would reiki or Indian Head massage be good treatments to have?
Let's look at the parts affected. Reiki would help as a supportive treatment at best, but cannot hurt. Even though it affects all sorts of things, let's concentrate on the kidneys.

Eat More:

My son has HSP, very close to Ricky's story, and would like to ask his parents or grandparents, whoever posted the story about treatments,regrets and how they feel about what has happend since diagnosis. I live in New Zealand and HSP going renal is not usual and I don't feel the drugs suggested are appropriate. Any imput on my situation would be greatly appreciated as I feel that the next step will endanger my sons health and wellbeing for the future.

My kid has HSP.
I understand its autoimmune but i just can't accept that.
It pains me seeing him complaining of severe abdominal pain and being injected with high doses of steroids for pain control.
I take very good care of my child and i just need to know why does it all suddenly happened to him.
He has rashes behind both ears extending to lower extremities.
He also started complaining Muscle cramps and easily tires to walk.
I am very eager to learn in detail the course of HSP.
I hope somebody out there can help me.

This disease normally occurs in children aged between 3 and 7 yrs but can sometimes occurr in older children and also adults. I would very much like to be part of a support group if one exists but would also be happy to start one up if I have enough people to do so.

How long do we expect her to be under the weather. Its been three months now. We have been admitted into hospital twice once for 5 days. Her urine is bloody and full of protein still. Everytime she is poorly, the Doctors say 'well is part of HSP' why don't they tell me what I could expect. Concerned mum

HPS is a disease that deals with vasculitis and causes bruises after a viral infection. Our 2 year old niece is being tested for it right now in the hospital. The doctors can't think of anything else her symptoms may point to. She has severe, sudden bruising and joint pains.

I was diagnosed with Henoch-scholein Purpura by an E.R DOC. Said I was thought to be the oldest person ever seen with it at age 28, don't know that's true or not. My family phy. had no experience with it, if fact it went un-diagnosed for some time until it got really bad one might causing the trip to the E.R. It has something to do with an inflamation of the blood vessels and it causes for lack of a better term "Leakage" that's the purpura to appear on the legs and sometimes butt.
