Absolved hehe... you could get water for boiling from lakes and stuff. Even if it's contaminated dirty... you can filter and boil it (boiling for like 8 minutes constant).

Yes a dental scaling and polishing will remove plaque and tartar from your teeth. The external stains will be removed and the teeth will be as white as they can be without bleaching them.  (+ info)

For some reason I just decided to do research on the Black Plague, but I just haven't found out something that I really want to know. How did they cure the bubonic plague in the middle ages?
In the middle ages they didn't. Their 'cure' was for enough people to die and to isolate themselves as much as possible from the sick or 'strangers/foreigners' that the disease no longer spread and died out since it has such a high host fatality rate.

Today there are drugs that can treat it but it still causes a panic whenever it appears. The last couple large outbreaks were in India I think.   (+ info)

I think I have a Mideval Desease called the Black Plague, but my doctor won't believe me. What can I do to convince him? He says it hasn't been around for over a thousand years, but recently I have came to notice that the Plague has caused me to cough out of turn (we have to take turns coughing in my neighborhood), the knack of not being able to say the word "skedaddle" while flipping through the many meaningless pages of People magazine (did you know that Paris Hilton was put in jail for driving without a licence?), and to top it all off, I think my dog is a sixty-kilometers tall dragon, Petrov, who bullies me endlessly without remorse. Dragons can be so mean, you know?

So, someone please help me convince my doctor that I DO, in fact, have the Black Plague! Thank you all for your time, but hurry. I think the plague is worsening.
I know what you mean about those darn dragons! Especially the ones that breathe fire. As for your doctor, I believe that you will be unable to convince him because it seems that he, too, has the Plague! Denial of existance of the Plague is the last stage of the disease.  (+ info)

What are the symptoms of the Black Plague?

I think I have the plague.

Here are my symptoms,

Cough,
Belly Ache,
Stuffy Nose,
Sore throat,
Unpleasant Taste (But that could have just been from the rat poison I accidently ingested yesterday, it's gone now.)
Loss of Appetite and
Dizziness.

Oh yeah, and my face caved in just a few minutes ago, but I don't think that's a problem. It's only minor, and I can pop it back out through the gash in the back of my skull.

Any Suggestions?
You do not have bubonic plague. It is characterised by buboes or lumps.
You do have a problem however, but it is more psychological than physical- seek therapy immediately.  (+ info)

Yes it can. The real problem was sanitation. Nonsense. The plague came from bacteria harbored in rats; no one in the days of the plague knew about bacteria or where they came from. The people in the middle ages had lots of wild ideas, like "bad air", "poisoned water wells", etc. Read a little history about it. There were also no antibiotics back then, which easily kills the Y. pestis bacteria if someone were to catch it today (and people still can, for e.g. it still exists in great quantities in the southwest).  (+ info)
