How much pocket money do your children get and at what age did it start?

Just wondering at what age you decided to give your child(ren) pocket money, how much. And also did you set certain chores in place?
I never got pocket money. If I was going out then my parents would give me some money (to go to the cinema, or go shopping, or whatever), and each year they put £150 into a savings account each for me and my siblings. We couldn't access this account until we were 21. We had to do chores, like washing up, hoovering, helping in the garden etc. but we didn't get paid for it - we did it because we were expected to help our parents, and they didn't think that children should be bribed to do things that, really, they should do anyway. I like to think that I would be the same with my own children - they should not expect money for doing nothing. Giving them money when they go out with their friends is enough. It worked for us, and it works for my sister and her son, so I don't think I'd ever give pocket money.  (+ info)

What are some foods that I can easily consume after Periodontal Surgery?

It feels as if almost anything I eat is painfully sensitive to my gums. I'm currently taking two medications: Advil and Amoxicillin, and when the pain becomes unbearable: Hydrocodone.

I've been told not to eat anything spicy or hard, and I haven't been, but almost everything seems painfully sensitive.

I have stitches on my gums, and this is in preparation for my root canal crown. I had endodontal surgery two weeks ago (root canal surgery) and periodontal surgery last week.
I was told specifically not to use any straws.

On jeans, namely on the right hand side, there is often a small pocket within the large pocket. What is this for? It is too small to put anything sufficient in, or anything at all for that matter. Is it a design thing? or does it actually have a use?
Before there were wrist watches, there were pocket watches. I believe that is the purpose of the pocket, as it is the correct size.  (+ info)

Instead of making a homemade pizza pocket, is it possible to make a spaghetti pocket?

I have a GT Xpress 101 (lil grill type thingie). My family loves home made pizza pockets/ pizza calzones. I would like to try to make spaghetti pockets/calzones for a change. Is this possible? I know I would have to precook the pasta before putting it into the pocket / calzone.

Has anyone ever tried this? If so did it turn out?
I just saw someone on here a couple of weeks ago that wanted to stuff crescent rolls (seems pressed together of course) with spaghetti and sauce. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

A lot of people will give you a hard time about to many carbs but just remember that pretty much everyone has garlic bread with their spaghetti.

What brand of jeans has a back pocket with a swirly design on it?

I've only recently started seeing girls wear whatever brand it is. The back pocket has a design with one loop that ends, and I think another loop right on the bottom of it. I've seen the design only on dark wash jeans and the design is either navy or brown. If you could tell me the right brand and show me a pic, I'll give you the points! Thanks!
I don't think it's seven jeans. I know what seven jeans look like. This swirl takes up most of the back pocket and has another right on the bottom of it.
