Do all Louis Vuitton Speedy's have the inverted symbol on one side?

I just noticed that the real speedy's have the inverted LV sign on one sign, and the regular sign on the other. How do I tell the real from the fake if the company is making their bags like this?
----------

The speedy has one continuous piece of canvas that goes around the bag - that's why they r upside down on one
side - but in the 70's they made them with 2 pieces (they're known as french company or fc bags) so some vintage bags may have them all right side up. Google how to spot a fake - there are lots of good guides on eBay too :)  (+ info)

Why aren't you supposed to do inverted poses while menstruating?

All the booklets or health things i read on Yoga or the like say not to do inverted poses while menstruating. How come?
Is it unhealthy?
My gym class makes us do our crunches by lifting our legs straight up and twining our ankles. Isn't this considered inverted? SHould we not do these if we are on our period?
----------

There is a traditional belief that doing inverted asanas (poses) during menstruation, possibly 'reverses' your body's natural flow of energy.
Following article at yogajournal.com explains more: http://www.yogajournal.com/practice/1187

However, at end of same article is perhaps the author's best advice: trust your own experience and pay attention to how your body feels.
One of the benefits gained from a regular yoga practice is improving your ability to listen to your body.

Regarding whether crunches you described count as an 'inverted pose',
the guide I've always heard is that technically, an inversion is any asana where your head is lower than your heart.
Under that guide, Downward Dog can be considered an inversion.

Why in our culture is the language of breastfeeding inverted?

"Health comparisons use a biological, not cultural, norm, whether the deviation is harmful or helpful. Smokers have higher rates of illness; increasing prenatal folic acid may reduce fetal defects. Because breastfeeding is the biological norm, breastfed babies are not "healthier;" artificially-fed babies are ill more often and more seriously. Breastfed babies do not "smell better;" artificial feeding results in an abnormal and unpleasant odor that reflects problems in an infant's gut. We cannot expect to create a breastfeeding culture if we do not insist on a breastfeeding model of health in both our language and our literature.

We must not let inverted phrasing by the media and by our peers go unchallenged. When we fail to describe the hazards of artificial feeding, we deprive mothers of crucial decision-making information. The mother having difficulty with breastfeeding may not seek help just to achieve a "special bonus;" but she may clamor for help if she knows how much she and her baby stand to lose. She is less likely to use artificial milk just "to get him used to a bottle" if she knows that the contents of that bottle cause harm."

This article has nothing to do with formula being "Poison" and no one said that. There is no need to argue by saying "formula is not poison"
This article is about the language of breastfeeding.
Actually if mom gets a cold, her antibodies are transfered through her milk to baby so baby can fight the cold.
The actual virus is not transferred through breastmilk.
"Explain to me how that's not technically calling formula poison."
Look up the definition of poison. Stating facts about how artificially fed babies are statistically ill more often and more seriously is not implying that formula is poison.
"It risks stigmatizing formula"
If it is nothing but the truth, than formula should be stigmatized.
"Infant Mortality Rates (IMR) are the number of infant deaths per 1,000 live births, from 0 to 12 months of age.
A relative risk of 5 here means that an infant who receives formula statistically faces five times the risk of dying as an infant who is partially or completely breastfed.
* These values are calculated from numbers provided in the studies, with averages weighted by percentages of total deaths occurring in each age range. More than two-thirds of deaths occur during the first month."

According to your definition and clinical studies, than yes, formula is POISON.
http://www.midwiferytoday.com/articles/formula.asp
Right. I agree with you about lumping irresponsible smoking while pregnant with tried your best but couldn't breastfeed. That isn't fair.

The article was directed to the woman who posted the definition to POISON.

While I don't put down any particular mom that made an informed choice to formula feed, until we stop treating formula as if it is normal and in a special class then we will never step forward to making it safe.

Powdered infant formula is NOT sterile, up to 14% of containers have E. sakazakii and more have salmonella. We have the technology to make it sterile. But formula companies get to hide behind "not guilting mothers" --even if mothers had access to this information and chose to use powdered formula anyway that's no justification for not forcing the companies to provide a sterile product. Look at all the testing that goes into making sure eggs do not have salmonella -and yet infant formula which could be guaranteed sterile by changing its processing for babies with less ability to fight infection is allowed on the market.

The new DHA/ARA added to formula is from sources never proven safe or effective, in fact in the preemie world its known as "the diarrhea formula".

Until such time as women stop whining about "guilt" and "choice" and start actually being empowered and making informed decisions and lobbying for safety formula will continue to be very, very dangerous for babies.  (+ info)

If you have no breast buds but you have breasts, are they inverted nipples?

I searched pictures online for inverted breasts and...my breasts don't look inverted but I have no breast buds...am I still waiting for puberty even though I started menstruating quite a few years ago?
----------

Not completely sure what you mean...

But my understanding of those words are that "buds" you call it when some girls in the beginning have small-circled stiff shoots that go straight out in the air. Of course some girls' breasts do not start that way.

Inverted nipples is when the tip is withdrawn, is sunk in deeper than the surface of the breast itself. You wouldn't be in doubt if that was the case. But it is not dangerous. I knew one girl who was like that. They popped forth when she was cold or excited ;o) And I am sure they did if she got any babies later.  (+ info)

What kind of bikini would suit a woman with an 'inverted triangle' body shape?

Inverted triangle = broadish shoulders, full bust, small waist, narrowish hips.

Thanks.
----------

you'll want to go with a brand that has seperates because you're going to want to mix and match the top and bottom to get the best fit. but for an optical illusion try picking a solid color (darks blues, greens, etc) for the top and a cool pattern for the bottom. it will draw the attention down. and go for a string bikini bottom because they tend to help with smaller hips. but i too have a full bust so my advice top wise is go for a halter top with fuller straps. a halter with thick straps helps gives great support and can balance shoulders. it can also make your bust look perky.

i hope that helps....i gotta go bikini shopping too!  (+ info)
