When does morning sickness end and taste buds become normal?

I am 13 weeks and 6 days pregnant and my morning sickness is still here, mostly at night. When will it end?
Also, when will my taste buds come back to normal? All I can eat is fruits, rice yogurt and very bland things, like cereal with milk and pasta with nothing.
Thank you ladies!

Do you give milk to an infant sick with cold?

My 3 month old son has got a cold since monday morning and he is all congested. To make it worse he has a diarea since yesterday. I don't know if it has something to do with the cold or if it is just by itself another sickness. Anyhow, I know milk thikens mucus in adults and it is better not to drink milk when you have cold. But my son at his age all he eats and drinks is milk, do I still continue giving him his formula or what?
----------

What else is he going to eat if you don't feed him the only thing he's eating?? Make sure you clear his nose out really well...you can use saline drops and then suction it out and then he can breath when you feed. After he eats, suction out his mouth, gently, so he doesn't have mucous build up in his throat!  (+ info)

Question about starting a baby on cows milk?

My mum told me she gave me (and my other 5 siblings) cows milk from 6 months of age and had no dramas with sickness or allergies etc (she said that's what every mum did in those days) and a few other mums i've spoken to have said that once babies are eating proper solids it is fine to start on cows milk. Nobody I know has heard of any healthy baby getting sick from introducing cows milk after 6 months+.
Is it really necessary to wait until 12 months to start a baby on cows milk?
----------

Im a early childhood teacher and we are not allowed to give any babies under 9 months cows milk. I think at this age you can add a little bit to things but not replace it with formula. I have never heard of anyone giving it to them this young but i know its not advised. Baby formula has got all the nutrience they need this young.  (+ info)

does milk take away or help morning sickness?

milk is a horrible thing to add to a sour tummy... try saltine crackers.  (+ info)

How did you keep yourself hydrated when you had morning sickness?

Also how did you get all your nutrients? I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and I can't seem to eat or when I do I just want to throw it all back up. I keep my vitamin down in the morning with a glass of milk but that is about it. The only thing that seems to settle my stomach is potato chips and sprite and this is in no way healthy for the baby. I am going to discuss this with my doc at my next appt here in a few days, but I was just looking to see if you had any advice and what you did. Thank you for your answers.
----------

I just kept taking my vitamins and drinking water all day long. I lost 7 lbs the first trimester because I was so sick, but the body protects the baby. Try to eat some jello. I was able to keep that down.  (+ info)

Milk is the only thing that actually helps my morning sickness.?

I know I am not the only one that this works for. My morning sickness was so bad! I suffer from low blood sugar even before pregnancy but now its very bad to where I am doubled over in bed. I was trying everything, crackers (yuck) Pretzels. Finally I thought... milk because it has protein. I think that was my problem. The other stuff was just making it worse. Now I just drink milk and it helps so much. Funny because I always hated drinking milk. ow I drink some in the morning and before bed. Does this work for anyone else out there?
----------

I don't really have morning sickness but milk sure does help a lot when I do get it. I make a ice cold milk shake almost every morning. I just add milk, strawberries, a banana some ice and a bit of sugar...yummy!  (+ info)

How early could you get morning sickness and food cravings?

If I am pregnant, I would be about 3 weeks.
I get the feeling that im going to be sick a lot.
It isn't just in the morning though,
I get it worse towards late evening.
And about the food craving thing, it is hard to tell.
But I normally do not like milk,
and I drank 3 pints in the past two days.
I don't know if I am just driving myself crazy or what, but there is def. a good chance for pregnancy,
I am just wondering if these are early symptoms?
Serious answers only.
Please and Thank You!

If you are pregnant, here is a list of pregnancy symptoms you might experienced before you missed your period:

1.Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

2.Swollen/Tender Breasts:
Swollen or tender breasts is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts; they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.

3.Fatigue/Tiredness:
Feeling fatigued or more tired is a pregnancy symptom which can also start as early as the first week after conception.

4.Nausea/Morning Sickness:
This well-known pregnancy symptom will often show up between 2-8 weeks after conception. Some women are fortunate to not deal with morning sickness at all, while others will feel nauseous throughout most of their pregnancy.

5.Backaches:
Lower backaches may be a symptom that occurs early in pregnancy; however, it is common to experience a dull backache throughout an entire pregnancy.

6.Headaches:
The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.

If you are pregnant, here is another list of pregnancy symptoms you might experienced after you had missed your period:

1. Frequent Urination:
Around 6-8 weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.

2.Darkening of Areolas:
If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker.

3.Food Cravings:
While you may not have a strong desire to eat pickles and ice cream, many women will feel cravings for certain foods when they are pregnant. This can last throughout your entire pregnancy.  (+ info)

Good morning dear! I started my morning sickness with my son at about 3 weeks and my cravings at 4 weeks or so. I just wanted dairy all of the time like cheese, yogurt, and ice cream. I normally can' t tolerate dairy. But during pregnancy I can. It's strange. With my daughter morning sickness started right away and I know i was pregnant with her before i even got a positive test back. But I didn't craving anything with her until' I was 6 or 7 weeks. All I wanted then was cheerios. Best of luck! Hope this was helpful  (+ info)
