Can elimination diets for allergies cause hypersensitivity?

My daughter (1.5yrs) recently was diagnosed with a dairy allergy - she's been having milk products this time and she rarely had any huge side effects. My son tonight fed her a mini cheese rice cake and she's been awake throwing up and I was just wondering if removing an allergen from the diet could cause her to be even more sensitive to the allergen when she's had it reintroduced to her?
Just wanted to clarify that she has only thrown up twice....and it wasn't unusual for her to throw up when she has had large amounts of cheese but nothing this small.

Is it cent percent sure that after circumcision the hypersensitivity of my glans will go for ever?

I am suffering from phimosis. Circumcision is the only way. But if my hypersensitivity of glans will not go, I cant wear any dress.

Please answer to the question only.It is urgent. Don't advise me to avoid circumcision.
----------

After circumcision, some guys, especially those who had it done because of phimosis and therefore never really had the head exposed before, will find the glans become extremely sensitive to touch,
However, overtime it will become used to it, from rubbing against things like clothing, and you will no longer feel so sensitive. Just one of those things you might have to put up with while it heals, if you have circumcision.  (+ info)

How do I use evaporated milk as a substitute for whole milk?

Its just regular evaporated milk, not the sweetened kind.
The can says to just use the same amount of evaporated milk as I would whole milk but I've always heard to use equal parts of evaporated milk and water to make up the amount of whole milk you need.

Its Nestle Carnation Evaporated Milk if that helps.
I plan on using it for muffins.
----------

use for muffins is fine do not dilute note Carnation come in whole , 2% and skim and all would be fine for muffins with the skim being the lowest in fat.  (+ info)

What type of milk is used in tapioca milk teas?

I've asked many different tapioca milk cafe's/shops what type of milk they use in their drinks and haven't been able to get a clear answer. Does anybody know what is used? Non-fat powdered milk? Regular Vitamin D milk? Or non-dairy creamer?
----------

Regular milk though it is sweetened with suagr Syrup, here is a recipe * 3 ounces tapioca pearls
* sugar syrup
* 1 cup brewed tea (Chinese black tea or lychee tea is good)
* 1 cup milk (or to taste)
* Ice cubes
* Tapioca Pearls
* 1 part tapioca pearls
* 4 parts (or more) water
* Sugar Syrup
* 2 parts white sugar
* 1 part brown sugar
* 3 parts water

PREPARATION:
Prepare the sugar syrup for the tapioca pearls (see below).[

Prepare the tapioca pearls (see below)

Place the tapioca pearls in the large glass jar

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Add the milk.

Remember the wild bar scenes in the Tom Cruise film Cocktail? Add the sugar syrup, milk and tea mix, and the ice cubes to a cocktail shaker and shake well. (Alternately you can process them in a blender, but that's not nearly as much fun!)

Pour the shaken mixture into the glass with the tapioca pearls.Serve with a thick straw.

To make the tapioca pearls: When making the tapioca pearls, which are the chief ingredient in Asian bubble teas, please note that the pearls expand considerably when cooked.

Please ensure that you use a large pot. (As a rule, the more pearls cooked, the more water should be used: that is, the water to pearl ratio must be higher. For 3kgs of pearls, we recommend using as much as 6 times as much water).

Boil the water. Add the pearls to the boiling water and boil for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure the pearls are not sticking to each other or to the pot. Turn off heat and let the pearls steep in the water for another 30 minutes with the lid of the cooking pot on.

Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse with cold water to cool them down. Place them in sugar syrup (sugar and water solution - see below). Make sure that the pearls are covered. Stir the pearls well. The pearls are now ready to enjoy.

To make the sugar syrup: in a saucepan, bring the water to boil. Add the sugars. Reduce heat and heat until the sugar crystals are dissolved. Remove from heat. Note: Please feel free to experiment with the ratio of white sugar to brown sugar, and the ratio of the sugar to water.  (+ info)

How much milk should a 3-year-old get per day AND what are the signs and treatment of worms?

My toddler had some noodles and then milk immediately after about 7:30 pm and around 11 pm she started crying loudly and then vomited. I believe it's because she ate too much and then had milk soon after. What I need to know is exactly how much milk is required for a 3-year-old especially since we are vegetarian and milk is one of our source of protein. How do u know when your child has worms and what are the treatment?
----------

Places I have read for the milk is 16 ounces or 2 cups a day!
Not sure about worms...  (+ info)

Can I use sweetened condensed milk to replace a cup of sweet milk?

I have a recipe for cubed steak and it calls for 1 cup of sweet milk, all I have is 2% milk and 1 can of sweet condensed milk.

I read that sweet milk was really whole milk......
Any ideas on which would be best?
----------

Sweet milk is just regular milk, as apposed to butter milk. It is an old term that not many people use any more. Your 2% will work just fine.  (+ info)

What exactly is breast milk, and where does it come from?

This question might seem a bit stupid, but I'd just like to know. Is breast milk like the same as cow milk? Where does the milk come from? How is the milk produced? Is there a certain age where girls can no longer breast feed or produce milk?
----------

What exactly is breast milk, and where does it come from?
It is a liquid containing fat, protein, water, white blood cells, and other ingredients perfectly matched to a babies needs. it comes from the mother's blood/body. the breasts filter nutrients out of the mother's body to make the milk. the milk comes from the nipple when it is sucked by the baby from several tiny holes in the tip of the nipple. the milk is stored in small sacks in the breast tissue and is constantly replenished.

Is there a certain age where girls can no longer breast feed or produce milk?
not really. during pregnancy, the breasts prepare themselves for feeding a baby by producing small amounts of milk called colostrum. after the birth, hormones and the baby's suck cause the milk to come in in large amounts. women who are not pregnant have been known to lactate (produce milk) but it is rare. the breasts will produce milk as long as the mother breast feeds regularly (for some, two years or longer). she will produce milk again when she has another baby. so in short, as long as she has a breastfeeding baby, she will produce milk no matter what her age.  (+ info)
