What do I eat when i have Chronic Gastritis, and Diverticulitis.?

I was diagnosed with Chronic Gastrtis, Diverticulitis, Barrett's and Intestinal metaplasia. Also Early Fundic Gland Polyp formation. All the doctor did was give me pills. Soooo what should my diet be?
----------

You should go back to the doctor treating you and ask for dietary recommendations. S/he should have a list of useful guidelines.

I can only speak to the grastritis. You'll find you have certain trigger foods which you'll want to avoid. For some people these include black pepper, citrus, chili peppers, tomatoes, cinnamon, and ginger. High fat foods are also difficult for some to tolerate. Avoid fried foods and switch to low-fat dairy products. Here's a site with advice for sufferers: http://www.drugs.com/cg/diet-for-ulcers-and-gastritis.html

What does this medical term mean?

This was found with a cystoscopy. What does it mean when a operative report says "There was squamous metaplasia of the trigone." "It should be noted that quite a bit of amorphous material jetting out from each kidney prior to the retrograde pyelography."
Thanks!
----------

The first sentence means some squamous cells in trigone area of the bladder have changed(there may be risk of malignancy).
The second sentence says before pyelography (taking some pics from pelvis of kidney) was done some amorphous material were oozing from the kidneys.
You can read about squamous cells, trigone area and amorphous on the Internet.  (+ info)

I have a question about pathology?

is anyboy pathologist here?
i did endoscopy and my doctor sent 2 sample for biopsy and pathologist report that is it"GASTRIC Antrum AND TRANSITION MUCOSA WITH MINIMAL CHRONIC INFLAMMATION ,FOCAL INTESTINAL METAPLASIA AND FOCAL MILD DYSPLASIA .and no malignancy
i have question?how many percentage may i have severe dysplasia and pathologist doesont correct diagnosis?and haw many errors do in pathology?
----------

It is impossible to understand you, as your sentences are not complete.
Apparently for some reason you believe the pathologist needs to correct their report, but I have no idea why.
I have lost count how many path reports I have read. Errors are rare and when they occur it is usually a typing error or an omission. You will often see addendums when additional information becomes available, but these of course are not errors.  (+ info)

In asthma, a major factor in the obstruction of airflow is:?

a. pulmonary edema
b. bronchial smooth muscle dilation
c. metaplasia of the Bronchial epithelium
d. excessive mucous production
e. over inflation of the alveoli
----------

i would say the best answer is D. because when your lungs try to clear them self they produce mucous to carry out what is causing the blockage.  (+ info)
