What does this report mean - Non Specific Lymphadenitis.?

This is my report of FNAC test.

Aspiration done from the post cervical node.

On Aspiration - Scanty hemorrhagic aspirate.

Microscopy - Shows scanty tissue, mostly mixed lymphoid cells and a few polymorphs and occasional macrophages amidst a hemorrhagic, protienaceous background.
No evidence of any specific lesion in the sample studied.
Sample was insufficient for ZN staining for AFB

Impression - Non Specific Lymphadenitis

What does this report mean? Is there some cancer cells?

What is it all about? Does it show that i have cancer?
----------

There was no cancer cells found. The report means you have inflamed lymph nodes for no specific reason and your doctor should correlate this information along with your physician exam, history and any other tests that may have been done. I don’t know if the other person who answered is really a doctor or not, but lymph nodes become hard if they are involved with a carcinoma if it is a lymphoma they do not become hard. Although, if your doctor suspected lymphoma they should have ordered an excisional biopsy not an FNA.  (+ info)

Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome?

Who would diagnose this syndrome??
----------

Typically, it would done by a Gastrointerologist due to the fact that an upper GI or esophogogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) would need to be performed. This condition is quite uncommon, and often over diagnosed without all the necessary workup.  (+ info)

I need some opinions here about Mesenteric Adenitis?

I went to the ER 2 weeks ago with stomach pain, thought I had appendicitis. They did a CT scan, I don't have health insurance this bill is going to suck but anyways. They told me give it 2 weeks and it should go away. I've had this thing for 2 weeks and a few days, and I am worried because the pain is really bad again. Some days it wasn't bothering me, but today it was killing me. Feels like it's bruised to touch my stomach. I am not sure what to do since I am uninsured. Does Mesenteric Adenitis last long? Do you think I was misdiagnosed?
----------

There is only one way to find out. Since mesenteric adenitis is an infection of the lymph node or a gland in the abdomen. Please go to an infection control doctor. They have the expertise in what you do have if this it and if not will refer you to a doctor that can help. If you can't find one to look at you without insurance then go to the nearest trauma center to you. They will not only treat you but can also have a social worker help you get Medicaid too. No one today has to go without medical insurance. There's allot of info for you both fro these people. Good luck and God Bless  (+ info)

What should I eat daily after I discovered I had sigmoid colon cancer?

I had discovered that my body found a 2.5 x 1.5cm tumor lies at the junction of the mesenteric and antemesenteric surfaces. It lies 2.8cm on one end and 4.8cm on the other end. The main cause of this tumor is according to what I eat daily in the past. I can't keep my old recipes anymore. What are some healthy food that I can eat daily now? The doctor said I should eat only vegetables without seasonings. Can anyone suggest me some information?
I am at the stage between level B and C. This was found 1 month ago. I live currently in Vancouver. I had already did a surgery on it.

what arteries are involved in the hepatic portal vein?

i know the gastric artery and the splenic artery are involved but what i don't know is whether the Superior Mesenteric is involved or not and I'm also debating whether the renal artery is involved or not? HELP!!!!!! please!!
----------

Portal VEIN is formed by the splenic vein and the sup. mesenteric. The portal vein delivers blood to the liver from the entire GI tract.. This blood is O2 deprived, delivering nutrients (and toxins) to the liver for breakdown. The portal vein then connects to the inferior vena cava so the blood can return to heart/lungs for O2.  (+ info)

Could my bad belly ache = appendicitis?

Right so I can't get to sleep because i have this undescribable and unbearable pain in my lower right part of my belly. The side of my right hip is swollen and my belly hs ballooned. I have done this symptom checker, on a decent website (www.mayoclinic.com) and the two conditions that i had all the symptoms of, were appendicitis and Mesenteric lymphadenitis. My symptoms are: Fever, Constipation, Nausea (no vomiting but constantly feeling like i am going to vomit), Swollen tummy, The pain is sudden and bad, It hurts lots when i cough and its made better by changing my position.
Which sounds more likely? Appendicitis or Mesenteric lymphadenitis?
I could really do with help from someone who has experience and had same symptoms or someone who is trained in medicine. Thank you.

Sharp stabbing stomach pain?

I have really bad sharp stabbing pain in my lower abdomen, this has happened before but I don't know what it could be. I am lying down because that is the only position where it doesn't hurt. I had to go to pee so i went, thinking that my stomach might feel better but it started feeling worse. and also when i walk i have to hunch over, because when i stand up straight it feels like a knife is being slashed across my lower stomach. Well, not that much. It feels like a dull knife is being stabbed in my lower stomach. I woke up with this stomach pain, actually I had it during a dream and that's why I woke up and then I tried to get up and the pain got worse. Please Please help??
I also have acute mesenteric lymphadenitis, where my lymph nodes get inflamed and my stomach hurts, but that pain in my stomach is on the right lower, and its a dull pain and not stabbing, so this isn't because of that. HELP!!
----------

Any pain that's bad enough to have you doubled over like that cannot be ignored. Please go to the ER right away. It could be your appendix or gallbladder or something else. Some of these possibilities are life-threatening if left untreated, but easily treated if you just get yourself to a doctor.  (+ info)
