Where can I find a specialized hospitale that can make sugery for my son. He has a hip joint dislocation.?

My son has a hip joint dislocation problem, and a laxity of the ligaments. Can you name foundations or associations that can do a surgery operation for my son for free, in Europ, US or Saudi Arabia? Mentally, he is intelegent, and studies in the school. He is 6 years old.
Thanks

congenital dislocation of patella?

can any one tell me of a website that tells you in plain english what congenital dislocation is and about operations and what is the long term outcome for some with this
----------

Haven't got a website, but look up hyper mobility sites too. I have congential dislocation of shoulders and hypermobilty is linked to it.

I have had several ops and years of physio to train my muscles to work in pairs and keep my shoulders in place. Most ops were key hole, so nothing to scary.

At the end of the day being able to dislocate something on cue is a gross out factor or a cool party piece.  (+ info)

does glucosamine and condroitin sulfate improve the pain in luxation congenital of the hip in a adult female?

Its a good question with different answers. Some say it does not help at all, some say it works miracles for them. Why not try and see for yourself. Try it for several month (I think these vitamins need awhile to start working) and see if it worked for you. For me it didn't but for my friend, she says she can't live without taking them.  (+ info)

what pain medication would be given to a female patient of 46, with a hip dislocation?

There are many many pain meds out there. Lortab (hydrocodone) has been the #1 prescibed med for years now and is most sought after as well. Lortab is addicting as it is a narcotic, so it needs to be taken with caution. Some physicians will only prescribe 12-15 at a time because of the abuse factor.  (+ info)

shoulder or hip dislocation?

if someone plays a contact sport, would that person be likely to have a shoulder dislocation or a hip dislocation and why?
----------

It can happen. I would honestly be more worried about a broken hip than a dislocation. A shoulder dislocation is quite possible depending on how you are hit and where. Hip is more likely to be broken. Either is painful, but both can be recovered from fairly easily, given time. Just don't try to pop in your shoulder yourself as you could catch a blood vessel and cut off flow to your arm. Small chance, but disastrous when it happens if you are not near an ER.  (+ info)

Dislocation of hip at 32 for Female, hemmorhage, incontinence of urine, restless lower limbs?

I have terribly suffered over the years, as stated from a lift and transfer trauma with a client. I was a Nurse, hemmorhaged-trauma to my lower back(strained/sprained), sciatica-at times incapable of getting out of bed-like I was paralyzed. I have a walker and two canes to help me get around. I suffer from chronic pains, fevers (ANA levels are high), along with high counts of RA's...and have osteo-arthritis of the coccyx. My spinal cord muscles and bones tend to shift and need chiropractic help, along with my unsteady hip/pelvic girdle. Doctors in Northern Ontario aren't proven beneficial to me stating it's all in my head! Although my body shows differently! Lately, my bladder is weak and I suffer terribly when I try to rest, my body feels like it's trying to detach itself, causing my knees to go out of whack and my feet! Since my injury, my vision is deteriorating, suffer serious migraines, and the rheumatologist was not successful in diagnosing me! I'm stuck and need answers! HELP!

First of all, you need to research some herbs to help you. Look on the Internet for herbs and natural medicines that will assist with pain, circulation and bone, such as potassium, cayenne and other herbal products. It seems that the medicine you are taking is doing more harm than good, causing loss of eyesight, bad circulation and other problems. Once you start the herbs, talk with your Doctor and let him know that you plan to handle things naturally as you fell the medication is making it worse. He will agree or disagree and if he does disagree; get a practitioner.

You are too young to be having so many problems and all the side effects from the medicines are making you worse. Physical therapy is the key here and I know, since you are a nurse, that you realize the benefits of physical therapy.

Never stand for one answer....always take many and make something out of it that makes sense to you!

Good Luck!  (+ info)

how can i help with crippling pain from congenial dislocation of the hip?

i am 41 years old and it is still out of the sockets
i'm 41 years old and it is still out of it's socket.
----------

You don't say how old you are. Congenital dislocation of the hip (CDH) can and should be diagnosed soon after birth and rectified by an operation.
Later in life a hip replacement operation might be the only possible cure.
Have you been told by a doctor that you cannot have the operation?
If so, I imagine your only option is suitable strong painkillers.  (+ info)
