i wanted to know, can i lose gynecomastia doing boxing 1 hour and a half a session, 4 times a week? and i will do my own boxing at home, Thanks for your time.

Yes you can. Although 90 minute sessions sound very long. Do lots of push ups as well. The boxing will increase your tone and also lower your body fat.  (+ info)

Do nipples get smaller in length after pubertal gynecomastia subsides?

I don't mean if they will continue to look protruded. I mean once there's no more gynecomastia will my nipples look as round as quarters since having gynecomastia stretches the tissue. I would have that when I don't have gynecomastia anymore my nipples would still appear large in size even if they aren't puffed out anymore....

Thanks for answering. :)

Has anyone ever had pubertal gynecomastia that has gone away naturally?

I'm 15 and have had pubertal gynecomastia for two years now. I was wondering if anyone's ever actually had it and then its resolved without surgery.
----------

Yes. Temporary gynecomastia is normal during puberty. However, if the problem doesn't go away...

Here's what you need to do to Lose Man Boobs...

1. Start adding Turmeric into your Diet. Turmeric is a spice (in the ginger family). It's been used for hundreds of years and is totally safe. The benefit of adding Turmeric to your diet is that it concentrates fat burning to the chest area. This little wonder spice will make your workouts a LOT more effective.

2. Do cardio every other day for only 25 minutes at a time at an intense pace. You want short, high intensity cardio workouts because these workouts will put your body into anaerobic fat burning mode (as opposed to aerobic mode). If you run too much you'll burn muscle along with the fat and your man boobs will sag much more.

3. Do a lot of inclined bench press, shoulder press and chest fly exercises. Use dumbells for these. Dumbells will force your chest to use its stabalizer muscles which will be more effective for burning chest fat. The idea of the incline bench press is to raise your muscle and pull up the loose hanging skin from your nipple area. It works!

4. Eat 6 small meals a day to boost your metabolism and put fat burning into overdrive. By eating smaller meals more frequently in conjunction with your new workout routine, your body will become a fat burning machine. Also as you continue the weight lifting regimen, your newly grown muscles will steal energy from fat stores in your body and get you ripped!

5. Have a plan. Don't just go into everyday all willy nilly with no real goal. Setup a workout schedule if you're serious. Never quit. Remember, it's more than just your appearance at stake - think about your health. Stay motivated and don't stop believing!!!

Are lumps behind the nipples a symptom of gynecomastia?

I have some lumps that are behind my nipples. I have to squeeze my chest to feel them.

Is it gynecomastia or something else?

I'm pretty thin too
----------

If it feels like there's just a layer of skin over your pec muscles without a layer of fat as well, you don't have gynecomastia.

But the lumps aren't right. Sorry to say this, but I think you'd better make an appointment with your doctor.  (+ info)

Will my gynecomastia go away on its own, with weight loss?

I have had gynecomastia for about 3 months or so and was told by the doctor that it would go away on it's own especially with weight loss. I have lose about 25 pounds and gut my body fat percentage about 7%. I am still working to continue to loose fat and add muscle. I have not seen much if any reduction in the gynecomastia. Will it go away or will I need surgery?
----------

There is a chance for reduction of male breast. But the worst condition even a body builder is being affected with gynecomastia. I read it in gynecomastia.org

If its only fat it'll surely dis appear. if not surgery is the only option

what are the things people say are under nipples if i have gynecomastia?

i have puffy looking nipples and i was told that you could feel a button or disk like mass under the nipple. But i dont feel anything, just a layer of fat, and then this mass that feels like relaxed muscle but when i flex my pecs it stays soft. do i have gynecomastia?
----------

if you have it then you will be able to feel a lump under your nipple that is sometimes painful when you press on it. if you dont have a lump then you probably dont have it.  (+ info)

Can my doctor prescribe testosterone pills to me for Gynecomastia?

I'm 16 and have gynecomastia in both nipples and i really want them gone, I got them when i was 13 and my doctor said that they would go away in 2 years but it's only gotten worse to the point where i have to wear 2 shirts and a hoodie to keep my puffy nipples out of sight. So can my doctor prescribe them for me?
Yes i'm a guy aha
----------

In short, your doctor will probably not prescribe testosterone pills (if you live in the USA), and will almost certainly not prescribe testosterone itself to resolve gynecomastia, unless a lack of testosterone contributed to the problem. Because testosterone can convert to estrogen, testosterone can contribute to gynecomastia.
As you mention, most docs want to leave pubertal gynecomastia alone, as it can resolve without intervention, and intervention could possibly result in other problems.

There are some hormones that could be contributing to this. Prolactin and estradiol can both contribute to gynecomastia. You might be able to get your doctor to test your blood for these hormones or simply have your parents purchase the test for you some other way (via LabCorp, for instance- but it won't be covered by insurance this way).
If you have some extra body fat to lose, try losing weight. What you describe sounds like "true gynecomastia" in that you have enlarged nipples too, not extra fat in the chest that might resolve by losing weight. However, losing weight can help reduce your estradiol, since body fat disposes testosterone to convert to estrogen.
Since most docs won't prescribe an anti-estrogen to men either, this is your first and least expensive solution.

Otherwise, surgery might be in order. I'm not sure at what age you could qualify for that, but any cosmetic surgeon should provide it to a person over 18.

Hope you find a solution that works.  (+ info)
