Question on the topic title.

I'm kinda scared. I'm 25 years old and I been playing soccer all my life, but sometimes all the running leave me with blisters in that area below the foot's thumb.

All my life I haven't worry about this, but today I read about Diabetic Foot Ulcers, and I'm wondering if somehow, maybe cause of bad treatment of my blisters, I could get a Diabetic Foot Ulcer.

I really would appreciate the answer of someone who knows about this.

How to relieve the pain from mouth ulcers caused by Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease?

I am in alot of pain with this and would appreciate if anyone has any advice on how to relieve the pain. I've tried chloraseptic spray, but it makes it worse. This is not a typical sore throat.
My kids gave me this. They had it last week, but they didn't get the mouth ulcers. I have been to the doctor and been diagnosed, but its a virus, so there isn't much he (the doc) can give me. He did prescribe a mouthwash called magic mouthwash but it does nothing...sigh..
You could also try using baby teething gel, and keep up the pain killers (paracetamol) .Also keep up your fluids and avoid spicy, & salty foods.

I know go with your doctor.....done it...but need to maintain wound clean...give me some pointers or creams
You know this may seem a strange thing to use on a foot or leg ulcer- but it works- progesterone cream. My husband has bad circulation from a damage vein in his leg, plus diabetes so he has had multiple ulcers- he went from dr, to dr and never found any prescription cream that worked. I am going through pre-menopause, and use progesterone cream. I was reading up about it on line , and it said it was safe for foot ulcers in diabetics. I thought this was kind of funny, but we tried it- and do you know something it closed the ulcer quickly before it got infected- this has happened a few times so I know it works- at least for my hubby. I have looked up the symptoms of both ulcer and acid reflux...however they seem quite similar. So what is the difference?
Acid in your stomach can eat through the stomach, which is a gastric ulcer.

Acid in your stomach can escape into your esophagus, which is acid reflux. The acid can damage the esophagus, causing an esophageal ulceration. The two are very similar, and the treatments are almost the same.

One difference: dairy products contain a compound (caesin) that can relax the gastric sphyncter, which is the valve on top of the stomach that lets swallowed food in but keeps acid from getting out. When this valve relaxes, you get more reflux. Because dairy is slightly basic, it will neutralize your stomach acid a bit, which can help ulcers. Of course, an antacid will neutralize the stomach acid a lot more.  (+ info)
