I wake up in the night and my eye catches the light. It than waters, burns and is sore all day. Why?
It is very painful and happens with any amount of light. I can not find a reason why this is happening.

how long has this been going on? U may have scratched your cornea, if so the abrasion will make your eye very sensitive to light and be painful. If it continues or has been going on a while then u need to get your eyes checked by an ophthalmologist. (

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning after i'm awake for about 5-10 mins one or both of my eyes start burning.It keeps burning untill i close my eyes.Why does this happen?

I have sensitive skin & so are my eyes. When I remove my eye makeup I just dip a finger (clean finger) in vaseline & gently massage over my eyes & eyelashes. Then wipe it off with a tissue ~ careful not to rub hard.
My eye makeup ~ shadow, eyeliner, & mascara ~ all come off in one step & it does not burn my eyes. My mother & my sisters all use vaseline & it works & its cheap. (

I would try some "Clear Eyes" or some other kind of OTC eye-drops that are designed to clear redness from allergies and other general irritations. Don't rub them anymore, since this is agitating them further. (

I know this is a silly question but here gos.. When you first open your eyes to a bright room or light your eyes burn. What part of the eye is feeling the pain? Is it my pupil, or my irises, or just the whole thing? Lol.. I just need to know for a sentence I'm writing lol.

hey! i continuously have eye burns, especially before exams/ deadlines.. ?
I am 23, this has been on for the past year ..
I have no history of vision problems, i got my vision checked recently. But i get eye burns everytime i have an exam, etc. also head aches...
do u have any idea of any herbal/ medical treatment/ short remedy which could make me get rid of this?
Also, I have 8 hours sleep every day

Are you taking care of your contact lens properly? What solution are you using?
If they are disposable, toss them out and use a new one. You contact lens can be damage, maybe a small tear that is rubbing against your cornea. could be you are allergic to the solution. Visit a doctor and have it checked out. (

i just recently got my contacts so maybe that could be it..or can some solution that was left on the contacts..burn my eye?
