Is iberet active helps to cure breast cyst?

I got diagnosed that I have a cyst on my right breast. My doctor recommended to take iberet active 60mg. Is anyone know if this medication has effect on my cyst? Any answer will be appreciated. Thanks!

This might help with some women but with me it didn't and I had to have a golf ball sized cyst removed through surgery. I hope the medication works for you because there were MANY complications with my surgery and now I'm scared for life.  (+ info)

I have an ovarian cyst and tiny breast cysts. Is there anyway I can balance my hormones and get rid of them?

I have a cyst in each of my ovary. My periods are regular and I dont have much pms. Also, I do not have thyroid problem. I want to know some natural home remedies to help balance my hormones. I think they whacked out because of stress.
----------

Hello, it sounds like you may have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom). The symtoms that you are describing are symptoms of PCOS: Ovarian cysts & hormone imbalance. Some other symtoms (not sure if you have them) are: trouble losing weight, some hair loss, darker hair growth on face and / or arms, and sometimes irregular periods, also infertility or trouble conceiving. Doctors will usually prescibe a diabetic medication called Metformin for treating PCOS because in a lot of cases people w/ this develope Diabetes later on. The medication can assist in weight loss. Weight loss is the key to balancing your hormones and putting these symptoms at bay. You should talk to your doctor. Hope this might help.  (+ info)

Can a cyst in my uterus cause irregular bleeding and breast pain?

I went to the gyno yesterday because of some suspicion of pregnancy. She said she saw nothing but detected a cyst which she believes was the cause of my late period (it arrived 9 days late and was pretty heavy). Now my breasts are starting to hurt. They are not sore or heavy but feel bruised when I touch only the top part. I doubt this is period symptoms because I shouldn't be expecting my period for another week. Can the cyst in my uterus be causing these breasts pains and the irregular period?
----------

Breast pain would be highly unlikely. Period irregularity can sure be caused by the cyst.  (+ info)

what are the symptons of a breast lump that is not cancerous and just a normal cyst?

i know that cancerous ones has signs of redness on the breast and discharge from it but what is the sympton of just a normal cyst thats not dangerous?
----------

a cyst is a fluid filled area and are typically round and have smooth borders, cancer has irregular borders and can be somewhat lumpy because it grows outwards in all directions. The best way to tell is to go to the doctor and they will do an ultrasound.  (+ info)

A cyst may or may not be a benign tumor. You should see a doctor.  (+ info)

Told breast ultrasound showed nodule yet doc called it a cyst. Can breast cysts not have fluid?

I asked about the color of the fluid and he said there wasn't any fluid. When he went back in the second time, he went through the cyst he said exploded and collected material through and beyond that. Minute fragments of fibroadipose tissue were made into a cell block. Would that have been more likely to have come from a nodule?
----------

A cyst can be a solid material also. I usually trust what the dr says.  (+ info)

What does a benign breast cyst look like?

I went for an MRI, was called back for additional views, (the tech said this new Dr. always sends my patients back), & then immediately after 2nd mamo, I had Sonogram. While laying there, I asked the tech what does cancer look like on the screen, she said that cancer sometimes takes on different shapes & maybe a rugged edge. So I see a perfect circle on the screen, white outline black in center, & I ask what is that? She said it looks like a fluid sac that you know swells up when you get your period & goes down afterwards. OK I get the results in the mail; abnormal needs further testing. I call my Dr. & have to go to a surgeon now. I explained to everyone that I don't have breast cancer in the family only heart disease. I find out this cyst is 3-4 cm & has some shadowing & lesions & it's at 9:00; this was from the sono.; the Mamo detected nothing. I don't even feel this cyst, so I guess your would it's soft. After the 1st mamo I got the period the next day. The 2nd mamo was 2wks later.
Correction: In the first sentence I wrote MRI, but it was a mamo. I got the results of the mamo & sono, & there was nothing on the mamo report but it was on the sono. Before I let the Dr. go in with a needle, do you think it wise I go for a breast MRI? Has anyone had that before?
----------

The important word is "shadowing". A simple cyst on U/S should be round uniformly black with white area outside of the circle and deep to it. If your cyst has shadowing, it may suggest calcification or a solid component. Since it is not a simple cyst your doctor is recommending a biopsy which is reasonable.

It is not uncommon you are not feeling anything. My guess is that it is NOT 3-4cm in size but 3-4cm from the nipple.

Also note that this may be a complex cyst(bloody or other products) but your doctor can not exclude a cancer without a biopsy.

MRI is not indicated in this case and would not add additional information.

How normal is it for a cyst in the breast to be found on Dec 23 measures 4cm?

come back on the January 4 and it has grown it now measures 5.8cm. I'm told that it is filled with fluid and I have to have Aspiration to remove the fluid. I'm now told that there is no fluid and they have to make an incision to use a larger needle to get tissue samples. how worried should I be? Is it normal for a cyst to grow that fast? should I prepare myself for the worst?
----------

I can't really help you on the cyst part, I'm sorry. I would however recommend going to a doctor that specializes in that stuff. As for preparing yourself for the worst, I have some advice. Me and my boyfriend are totally opposite when it comes to this, he prepares for the worst, and I always think it will be ok. If I were you I would see both sides and calm down. Getting worried and stressed might make things worse, with your friends and family, and your body. Don't think that it is just nothing though, because then you will be crushed if it is. Find that silver lining, tell yourself you know it could be bad and this is scary, but I have people that love me and even if it is the worst situation things will work out and I will be ok! Having strength in these situations is probably best! Stay strong and good luck:]  (+ info)

when is it time to have a breast cyst surgically removed?

I have had a cyst under my nipple for about a year. It has been aspirated 5 times without any improvement. Because of the location I am constantly in pain so bad ive had to take percocet. Please help me.
----------

Don't know what kind of help you are looking for, but you should be asking for a specialist if you don't already have one.
Be patient with your body and the need to take strong analgesics (painkillers). I might be pressing my doctor for a referral to a surgeon right now or get him to tell you why this has not been done. Five aspirations without success tell me you need the surgery or a reason why surgery is not an option. Don't allow any more aspirations; maybe your doctor is a bit slow on the uptake?
Careful with using percocet too long, it is very addictive.

How can you know that you are having a cyst in the breast?

When you palpated something that is hard but not tender, is it a cyst?
----------

There is absolutely no way to tell if a lump is a fluid filled cyst or a solid mass. And anyone who tells you different is a fool.

The only way to tell is by a mamogram and/or ultrasound. The image, shape, size, echo, etc will tell if it is suspicious or not. If it is, a biopsy will be done (and there are different types... core, fine needle, etc).

Anytime a lump is found, it MUST get investigated.  (+ info)
