Can this be done? What is the procedure? Has anyone every removed one themself?
I watched a video on it and all he does is inject lidocain in the areas and remove it. However They are not dangerous and can usually be ignored. Sometimes the fluid contained within a cyst can be drained by inserting a needle but only if it becomes infected. I had such a cyst removed from my ear this past Friday. I have been experiencing loss of equilibrium and waves of nausea. What else can I expect?

Sounds to me like you may have an ear infection, as they can interfere with your balance and can cause nausea.
I would suggest going back to your doctor, just for a checkup.

I have read that sebaceous nevus can be linked with neurological disorders. Would a child be born with these disorders, or could the child develop normally as an infant, then the disorder develop later?

Is it ok to leave my sebaceous cyst in my earlobe?

ive gotten sebaceous cyst removed from my toe, my butt, and now its in my earlobe. my toe cost me 200 and butt 250 to get it removed. it costs so much to remove this small benign cyst. is it ok to just leave it in my ear? because i have heard as long as it doesnt bother you or get infected, its fine.
if it doesn't bother you, you'll be fine.
