What could be causing my frequent bowl movements with bloating, gas, abdominal pain, and nausea?

I almost constantly battle with a lot of abdominal pain, gas and bloating. Nearly every time I use the restroom I have a bowel movement or feel like I need to. On and off for the past few years I'll have a week or more where I just feel sick to my stomach every time I eat. I have a lot of anxiety problems and I don't know if it's the cause but it definitely makes my anxiety worse during these times.
----------

This can have many causes. IBS, nausea and bloating can all come from parasites, clogged liver/kidney or candida overgrowth. do you have other sytmptomes such as foggy headedness, irritabillity and/or intense cravings for sweets? sounds like parasites or candida. See a doctor, but also look into holistic cleanses that can clear this kind of thing up without harmful drugs or antibiotics.  (+ info)

Did anyone have constipation and abdominal pain with the depo shot?

I was on the depo shot for 3 years. I kept missing my dates, so I stop getting them for about 8 months. I started again in May/2008. As of today, I still haven't had my period. I've had bad gas and constipation as well as abdominal pain for almost 2 weeks. I think I may be pregnant.
----------

You could be pregnant. Depo is only 99% effective. You may never get your period on depo, or you could bleed for months.

Really, I'd just find a new form of contraceptive. Depo can do a lot of damage to your bone health. I was on this for four consecutive years and I'd never recommend it to anyone.

Read these reviews and google depo provera lawsuit:

Well in expiriencing burning feet soles daily and a sharp pain on the lower right abdominal side?

Well in expiriencing burning feet soles daily and a sharp pain on the lower right abdominal side ( almost on a monthly basis) I have gone to thegp but he just told me to take paracetamol. Its really not helping any advice?
----------

For a start it is highly unlikely that these 2 complaints are related.
When it comes is the abdominal pain you get constant, does it come and go, does it move, how long does it last, if you press on your stomach does it hurt more, where do you have to press to make it hurt the most. In all likelihood, given that you have seen your GP, it is most probably indigestion. I know that that sound farcical given the pain but indigestion can cause unbelievably excruciating pain.

The feet. Poor feet we stand on them every day, we pound along hard pavements, squeeze them into shoes that don't fit, wear socks that suffocate and never give them a seconds thought until they talk back at us. And we get most disgruntled. Poor feet.

You need to give your feet a bit of tlc. You need at least 1 if not 2 hours free , a bowl with a flat bottom - washing up bowl will do. Some Radox, dettol, soda crystals or salt if you have nothing else. A foot file, some medium weight wet and dry sanding paper or a pumice stone. A nail file and some toe nail clippers. Massage oil, foot cream or moisturiser. Towels, flannel, hot water, a kettle filled with boiling water, a comfy chair and a good book or the TV doofa.

Fold one towel and place it on the floor immediately in front of the chair. Fill the bowl with enough water (just cool enough for you to be able to put your feet into) to just cover your feet when they are in there and with a splash of Radox or dettol, or a shake of soda crystals or a handful of salt whichever you ar going to use. Place the bowl on top of the towel. Put the other items within easy reach of the chair. Stand with a foot on either side of the bowl and sit down. Put your feet into the bowl, pick up your book or the TV doofa and get comfortable for the next 30 minutes or so. If the water cools too much, top it up from the kettle.

After 30 mins or so take one foot out of the water and dry it off gently with another towel. Take the foot file, sand paper of pumice stone and rub hard around the edges of the sole and ball of your foot. As you do this all what was hard skin will begin to come away. Rub as much of this off as you can without rubbing away your outer skin and making your feet bleed. Rinse the foot off as the skin comes loose so you are not constantly removing the same layer. Keep the foot file, sand paper or pumice stone free from clotting too. Once you have removed all the skin that is going to come away, rinse and dry your foot again. Pay particular attention to the skin between your toes and make sure that any loosened skin is rubbed away. Now clip your toenails and tidy up the cuticles with the nail file and clippers. Using the massage oil, foot cream or moisturiser give your feet a good massage - spend a good 5 or 10 minutes rubbing around the edges in the centre of the sole and over the arch pushing in slow firm movements. Rinse and dry your foot again. Place it on the floor then start with the other foot and repeat everything that you have just done.

When finished push the bowl to one side and relax for a while before rushing off to clear up.

Do this every week for 3 or 4 then at least once a month and you should have no further problems. When you go to bed at night spend 5 minutes or so rubbing around the edges in the centre and over the arch of our feet and thank them for carrying you around all day.  (+ info)

What does it mean when you have severe migraines, numbness in the arm, feeling nausous, and abdominal pain?

I've had a severe migraine in the frontal lobe for almost 2 weeks along with numbness in the right arm, feeling nausous, and abdominal pain. What does that mean? Can anyone find out? My doctors tell me it's just nerves but I know it's something else.
----------

It means you have some serious health problems which need to be addressed immediately by a general physician, who will refer you to a specialist if needed.

You need to get second or third opinions from other doctors. The "just nerves" explanation seems ludicrous.

All of these symptoms combined could mean something very serious, possibly the onset of HIV. Have you been tested for this lately? Another possibility is some kind of toxic chemical which you have somehow absorbed. You may want to request a complete blood work examination to test for this.

Make sure to give yourself time to listen to the signals your body is sending you, and to visualize yourself in perfect health, in spite of how it seems.  (+ info)

Is abdominal pain a sign of having inguinal hernia?

I have done a urinalysis but the doctor said that I have no kidney infection. But still, I can feel the pain in my lower abdomen, my back ,my chest, and my groin. And I am really aware of that. Pls. Help me to know what it is and what should I do to get rid of it? Hope it is only a simple abdominal pain.
----------

Not necessarily, you may have a Bladder Infection which also causes a lot of Pain, particularly if it is untreated. If you had a Hernia, your Doctor surely should have noticed this during your Examination. But in order to know exactly what is going on in your Body, request from your Doctor a complete Blood Test and X Rays.
Stay calm about this and don't Panic.  (+ info)

I am 39.5 weeks along and this morning am experiencing lower abdominal pain. Could this be the start of labor?

The pain at times feels like sharp twinges, but it is not constant. My uterus does NOT feel like it is contracting. But are these pains/cramping an early sign of labor? (The pain is in my lower abdominal area but is also reaching down to my vagina) Thanks.
----------

Sounds like you're getting ready to start labor...YAY!!!
I had the same thing. Except I didn't realize I had start labor until I was driving home from the store and the pain was longer than normal and I decided to time the pains.
My uterus didn't really feel like it was contracting too much, it was more of the pain that radiated from the back to the front for me. I didn't realize it was tightening until I put my hand on my stomach and I FELT it get tight.
But you probably are going to the doc every week now, so I would as them.  (+ info)

6weeks pregnant and having persistent lower abdominal pain, should I be worried?

I am not bleeding or spotting but have had this persistent lower abdominal pain for 3days now. Its not on either sides, but feels like PMP. Sometimes it goes away when I am walking or doing other things, but when I lie down it comed back. Has anyone had this kind of experience, is it normal? Should I be worried? I am going for scan tomorrow, otherwise I'll go crazy with worry. Help!
----------

I am 6 wks 4 days and I've had cramps for about a week and a half at least. Actually went into the ER doctor about a week ago because they were so bad (but I think I freaked out a bit too- as this is my first pregnany). Went in for a scan a few days later and doctor said everything was fine. If you're not bleeding I wouldn't worry too much- Take some Tylenol (no Ibuprofen). Also- I was even spotting, mostly brownish/pinkish and the doctor said that was even normal. They also told me that if you are having pain on one side (although I know you said you aren't) that it could be from the ovary you conceived off of. Just relax, the stress made mine worse I think and after the doctor did the scan and told me I was ok- I've felt quite a bit better. Also, drink lots of water and stay hydrated and rest. Congrats and good luck! Since we're about on the same week, email me if you have any other questions! Have fun- hope you feel better  (+ info)

Has anyone experienced abdominal pain associated with the Mirena?

I had my IUD inserted 6 months ago. I am not starting to experience abdominal pain at least twice a week and sometimes it quite intense. I have an appt this week and I am considering having it removed. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I try to keep it or switch to another form of BC?
----------

I have the Mirena, and I too experience abdominal pain quite a bit. Mine also started about six months after I had the Mirena put in. Sometimes mine also is very intense. I have not had it checked out because I did read that it was one of the side effects. If the pain makes you too uncomfortable I would take it out. I am just leaving mine in because it is a wonderful contraceptive and for me the heavy cramping and occasional abdominal pain is a small price to pay for the wonderful job it does.

I hope this helps and I hope you feel better!  (+ info)

is it normal to have abdominal pain the first few months on the pill?

On my second month on the pill i had severe abdominal pain with vomiting but it only lasted 5 hrs and then went away. I didn't stop taking the pill because it had only lasted 5 hrs and the pain never came back after that. Is this type of pain normal for the first few months? Severe abdominal pain is one of the side effects to look out for why is this? I know chest pain has to do with heart attacks but what does the abdominal pain associated with?
----------

Before I started the pill, I had had cramps only once (when I first started).

After the first month or so of starting birth control pills, I also had severe cramps and nausea. I've been taking birth control on and off for the past 10 years or so, and I've never had a repeat episode.

I think you're fine. If it happens again, you may want to consult your OB/GYN.  (+ info)
