Have you ever tried discontinuing Topamax either temporarily or permanently? I was also suddenly diagnosed with gastroparesis seemingly out of nowhere. I was taking Topamax at 100mg daily for a few years and slowly started this downward trend and 8 months ago it got horrendous. I accidentally stopped taking Topamax by mistake. It was laying downstairs away from other med regimes. I found that my stomach symptoms absolutely vanished when I stopped taking that stuff. To be sure, I went back on it for a few days and was as sick as ever again. Maybe it won’t completely solve it or heal it for you, but it may be worth a try. I am so incredibly grateful to have my life back! I can eat ANYTHING without getting sick which is miraculous considering how bad the gastroparesis was for me.
