Thyroid storm induced by aspirin intoxication and the effect of hemodialysis: a case report.Thyroid dysfunction is one of the serious consequences of an overdose of acetaminophen, aspirin, or nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs. The management of such consequences remains a medical challenge. A variety of thyroid abnormalities are common in clinical practice and can, in many cases, be accurately diagnosed and managed by the primary care physician.
